Important Health Care Reform Compliance Notice / Health Insurance Exchange Notice (Updated 10/1/2013)
As part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employers are required to notify all employees and new hires (within 14 days of hire) about their eligibility for employer sponsored health insurance benefits. Even if you do not offer group health insurance, you are still required to let employees know that they may be eligible for health insurance subsidies via the health insurance exchange in their state (in Colorado this is known as Connect for Health Colorado). The Department of Labor has provided template notices for your convenience.
Use this version if you offer group health insurance and have less than 20 employees.
Use this version if you DO NOT offer group health insurance at all.
